The Program
Managing Made Easy™ is a 6-module group leadership program where first-time and front-line managers will gain the foundational leadership skills they need to lead and engage employees. We will meet live for 3-hour sessions and learn ONE skill in each session, resulting in true mastery of the skills you need to become a rock-star people leader!
Each cohort is limited to 12 managers to ensure everyone will get the opportunity to discuss their challenges each month. Cohorts typically take place live, via Zoom.
By the end of the program, you will know how to:
- Move projects and goals forward without having to micromanage
- Achieve greater balance as a manager because you will no longer have to jump in and do the work
- Conduct feedback conversations in a way that opens employees up instead of shutting them down
- Coach employees ‘on the spot’ to inspire higher levels of performance
- Confidently deal with issues on the team before they escalate
- Motivate each employee based on individual intrinsic drivers so engagement and productivity soar
Program Outline
Module One
Develop Manager Awareness – Do you inspire performance from your team or are you a driver of performance?
Find a balance between not managing too much or too little and assess your current management style to design an approach for managing your team you can apply when you return to work.
Module Two
Expect the Best and Get It! – Reduce confusion and get the right people doing the right work.
Set your employees up for success as you learn how to communicate clearly and delegate effectively by matching up the right employee with the right tasks.
Module Three
Stress-free Feedback Conversations – Lead constructive conversations that result in improved performance and greater ownership from employees.
Does the thought of giving an employee constructive feedback has you breaking out in a cold sweat? Most managers are dealing with different versions of the same performance issue. Learn how to get to the root cause of performance issues and a clear process for communicating feedback so it is heard and accepted.
Module Four
Discover Your Team’s Potential – Coach employees in the moment and ask the right questions to inspire higher levels of performance and commitment.
Learn how to use the coach approach and powerful questions to improve employee self awareness and independence. You will get to take back even more of your time.
Module Five
Tackle the ‘Tough Stuff’ – Stop losing sleep because of difficult conversations and ward off team conflict before it escalates.
Difficult conversations are inevitable for a manager, but they don’t have to be painful or awkward. Learn how to transform destructive conflict into constructive conflict and a strategy for navigating difficult conversations.
Module Six
Light the Fire Within – Motivate your team and keep them engaged along the entire employee journey from hired to retired.
Learn how to uncover your employee’s internal drivers of motivation as well as actionable strategies to engage employees.

$3450 + HST includes all materials per person. Program fees are due upon registration. Space is limited to 12 participants.

How Is This Program Delivered?
Managers have two options:
- Attend online (Live) via Zoom.

How Does This Program Work?
1. Curriculum
One 3-hour live group session every 3 weeks.
- Learn one topic per module
- Applied learning – practice the tools and skills in between modules
- Build your manager tool-kit
- Module re-play available for 6-months after program completion
2. Coaching
On-the-spot coaching to help you overcome any issues or mind-set barriers
- Time in every session to debrief on last months progress
- Expert and peer coaching from your group to help overcome barriers or concerns from the last module
3. Community
Slack Channel for communication between modules
- Stay connected between modules
- Post questions and get help
BONUS resources and microlearning added via this channel.
Why We're Different
This program overcomes the “knowing-doing gap” by designing each module around the application of skills once a manager is back on the job. Managers will have time between modules to practice their new skill with their team and come back to the program each month to receive coaching from Corina and their peers with any challenges they experienced.
The small group size encourages peer learning. You will have the benefit of sharing your challenges with the group and getting instant feedback in each session.
